Nike added a platinum colored ball to its "The One" golf ball franchise earlier this year. It features a "progressive density core with a soft center and a progressively harder outer shell that provides lower spin off the tee, even with its soft outer cover" and is otherwise comparable to "The One" black. It’s comprised of 3 layers outside the core; the 1st layer is designed to reduce spin off the driver, the middle cover provides superior mid-iron control and the outer layer, which is softer than the one on "The One" gold, promotes improved feel around the green (according to Nike’s press materials).

I say.. Who cares about tech talk? This is the ball Tiger uses!
